Talk Overview

In this session, I will talk about how AI tools are changing the way we approach testing, especially when it comes to generating test cases, automation scripts, and learning new concepts quickly. While AI makes it easier to get answers, it usually works within the limits of the questions we ask.

I will share my own journey of moving from a test case focused mindset to thinking more in terms of risk, system behavior, and overall quality. This shift did not come from tools, but from being part of testing communities where discussions, disagreements, and shared experiences helped me see gaps in my thinking.

Through practical examples, I will explore how AI can sometimes reinforce our existing assumptions, while communities help us challenge them. The session will focus on why developing the ability to ask better questions is still a key skill, even in an AI-driven world.

This is a reflection on how testers can grow, think better, and balance the use of AI with human learning and collaboration.
